GeoTIFF (.tif), JPEG 2000 (.jp2) or any raster GDAL reads. Three or more bands, red green blue first, in a projected CRS in metres.
GeoPackage (.gpkg), Shapefile (.shp) or GeoJSON. Polygons only. A GeoPackage with several layers reads the FIRST one, so save the layer you want separately.
Both are required. The AGT polygons are corrected against the imagery, and buildings the AGT polygons does not have are added at the New buildings stage.
A displacement field changes smoothly under pure translation. The adjustment is about 1.5 metres. Only the position of the polygon changes, while its shape remains unchanged.
When compared to ground truth, refining reduces accuracy.
The recommended setting is gated. Automatic removals are never applied to any area larger than 10 m2, and each removal is recorded in an audit layer along with the reason for it.
This is what brings residual overlap down to 0.0 m2.
A new building detection is established on the ground where the corrected polygons do not reach. Each detection undergoes the same alignment, evidence verification and topology steps as an AGT polygon, ensuring that nothing is added that the imagery does not support.
Results are stored on the server and loaded into the review queue automatically when the run finishes.
Start Analysis is off until the Input step is valid: choose an imagery raster and a polygon layer.
